Do you have a funny or interesting story about your recipe

This is one of my favorite autumn recipes to make, for apple season is in full swing! The best apples to use for this salsa are crisp, firm apples such as Honeycrisp. Soft, sweet apples are better for sauce and baking. Use whatever hot peppers you have on hand - serrano, jalapeno, and cherry bomb are a few of my favorites! This salsa is a great addition to grilled fish, fish tacos, or even over a bowl of cooked quinoa!
