1 cup Spinach
1 cup Kale or Swiss chard
(Or combination of each)
1 Lime peeled
1/2 avocado
1/2 cucumber with skin
1 pear cored
1 inch ginger peeled
Handful parsley
5-6 ice cubes
I - 1/2 cups filtered water


Blend all twice
Can be stored in Fridge x 3 days
Or frozen in glass containers

Last year When my neighbors found out I was using kale./ Swiss chard - they kept dropping off their extra kale or Swiss chard from a local farms community agricultural baskets.
I was inundated but it made me research and I sought out different recipes to freeze in small quantities for either smoothies or to braise or include in soups or make kale chips etc. now I'm known as the kale queen! It was a crash course!
I am planning to give a session for them this year before the season starts so maybe they will learn to enjoy and keep it themselves!
